Global Nursing Research Center
Dr. Yoshie Takahashi is a Project Assistant Professor at the Global Nursing Research Center at UTokyo. After working as a registered nurse for eight years at a general hospital, she earned her PhD in Health Sciences from UTokyo in 2022. Her doctoral dissertation focused on developing a scale to measure the perceived connectedness between one’s work and organizational purpose and testing it among hospital nurses. Alongside her teaching duties in the Department of Nursing Administration and Advanced Clinical Nursing, she pursues her research, believing that a purpose-driven nursing organization can enhance the well-being not only of nurses but also of patients and society.
