Minae Fukui
Ms. Minae Fukui is a Project Assistant Professor at the Global Nursing Research Center at UTokyo. After graduating from Kobe University, she obtained licenses as a nurse and public health nurse and is currently enrolled at Kobe University Graduate School of Health Sciences. She worked in the pediatric ward for three years. Her research focuses on the support of Health Care Transition for patients with chronic illnesses. She researches the decision support pediatric nurse specialist nurses provide to transitional patients and the interactions between parents and patients during self-care development in adolescent patients. She is a member of the Japan Academy of Nursing Science, Japan Academy of Pediatric Nursing Science, Japan Academy of Family Nursing, and International Family Nursing Association.
