Dr. Kojiro Morita is a Project Lecturer for the Global Nursing Research Center in UTokyo’s Graduate School of Medicine. He has a Master’s degree in public health and a PhD in social medicine. He has seven years of clinical experience working as a registered nurse in critical care.
Dr. Morita’s main research areas include clinical epidemiology, health services research, and health policy research related to nursing and long-term care using big data such as medical reimbursement systems. Heiueses quantitative, epidemiology, and policy evaluation research methods.
One of Dr. Morita’s recent research achievements include a study on the effectiveness of advanced practice nurses (APNs) in improving patient outcomes in Japanese intensive care units. Findings from the study are now reflected in medical reimbursement policies in Japan.
