We successfully hosted the annual UTokyo Nursing Spring International Program 2025 (SIP 2025) from March 10 to 12, 2025, under the theme “Innovative Approaches and Methodologies in Nursing Science – Explore Research Career & Create International Research Networks.” A total of 71 participants, including 40 UTokyo Nursing graduate students and 31 participants from 12 countries/regions(Bangladesh, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Norway, Philippines, Korea, Taiwan, and the US, spent three days of the program together. They engaged in mutual learning about healthcare and nursing care systems in each country, participated in hands-on seminars led by UTokyo faculty members, and joined one of seven nursing departments. Each group visited various healthcare facilities in Japan, engaged in discussions, and exchanged insights about nursing practices and research among participants. The success of SIP 2025 highlighted the commitment of the GNRC and UTokyo Nursing to provide advanced learning opportunities and collaborative research networks for nursing graduate students internationally and to drive innovation in the field of nursing science.
