On Friday, June 28, 2024, the Global Nursing Research Center (GNRC) welcomed a distinguished delegation of eight visitors from China. This delegation included six representatives from the West China School of Nursing at Sichuan University and two from the School of Nursing at Sun Yat-sen University. Among the notable visitors were the Associate Dean of the School of Nursing at Sun Yat-sen University, as well as the Dean and Vice Dean of the West China School of Nursing at Sichuan University. During the visit, Professor Noriko Yamamoto-Mitani, Director of the GNRC, delivered an informative presentation about the GNRC and UTokyo Nursing. This was followed by two insightful presentations from the visitors, showcasing the strengths and advancements of the School of Nursing at Sun Yat-sen University and the West China School of Nursing at Sichuan University. The visitors were also given a comprehensive tour of the GNRC labs, providing them with an up-close look at the cutting-edge research and facilities. The event concluded with productive discussions on potential future collaborations, setting the stage for a strong partnership between the institutions.
