On August 23rd,2023, the GNRC seminar titled “Longevity: Embracing Technology in Active Aging” featured Professor Mimi Tse from Hong Kong Metropolitan University as the speaker. The seminar highlighted the integration of technology, particularly mobile health (M-health), in promoting positive and healthy aging. With real-life examples from her research, Professor Tse emphasized how technology empowers individuals to actively manage their well-being. The event attracted more than 50 participants from seven countries, fostering global collaboration and insightful discussions on technology’s role in enhancing the aging experience. Professor Tse’s presentation underscored the practical applications of technology and its potential to transform the landscape of active aging on a global scale.
