On July 22, 2024, we were honored to host Prof. (FH) Markus Golla from IMC University of Applied Sciences, Austria. Prof. Golla delivered an insightful lecture on the healthcare and nursing situations in Austria. Our graduate students also presented an overview of Japan’s healthcare systems, nursing care, and long-term care. Prof. Noriko Yamamoto-Mitani, the Director of the GNRC, highlighted the significant work being done by UTokyo Nursing and the GNRC. The visit concluded with a tour of our laboratories, allowing Prof. Golla to explore our research environment and cutting-edge technology. The event was attended by faculty members and graduate students who engaged in fruitful discussions throughout the sessions.
