Education program for enhancing health care students’ attitudes toward people living with dementia: protocol for a single-arm pre-post study.

Health care students play a key role in improving care for people with dementia. It’s important to help them develop positive attitudes and a good understanding of dementia to reduce stigma, offer better care, and improve the lives of those affected. To achieve this, educational programs are starting to use games as a teaching tool. Researchers from UTokyo Nursing and Universitas Airlangga in Indonesia are working together to study how well these game-based programs can change students’ attitudes about dementia. Their study plan has been published, and the research is currently underway.
