GNRC seminar hosting Prof. Shereen Hussein from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK

On June 20, 2024, the Global Nursing Research Center (GNRC) held an insightful seminar featuring Professor Shereen Hussein from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK. The focus of the seminar was on enhancing the work quality of long-term care professionals. Dr. Hussein presented her pioneering work on developing a new instrument to assess adult social care work-related quality of life (ASCK-WELL). She emphasized the significance of the psychometric robustness of measurement tools and the practical implementation of these measurements to ensure they are utilized effectively by all stakeholders. The seminar was conducted online, attracting a total of 41 participants, with 29 joining virtually and 12 attending onsite. The event provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and underscored the GNRC’s commitment to advancing research and practice in nursing and healthcare.
