Assistant Professor Hiroki Asaoka received the Best Published Paper Award for Young Researchers at the 97th Japan Society for Occupational Health. Dr. Asaoka and co-researchers developed the Japanese version of the PFI and examined its internal consistency, structural validity, and convergent validity in healthcare professionals. The Japanese version of PFI proved to be reliable and valid for use in healthcare professionals and it may be useful as a tool to assess both burnout and professional fulfillment among healthcare professionals and to promote efforts to improve well‐being and engagement in practicing healthcare professionals.
