What is your clinical/research area of interest?
I am working on interdisciplinary research to develop intelligent vibrational dressing to promote diabetic foot ulcers.
What do you like about UTokyo Nursing?
I am a physical therapist, and I prefer that we can conduct cutting-edge research incorporating nursing science, which supports patients from the perspective of their daily lives, and nursing science and engineering, which includes reverse translational research methods.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Since I used to play baseball, I often go to the batting center and play to enjoy it.
What do you hope to do in the next five years?
In addition to my identity as a physical therapist, I am connected to various fields, including nursing science and engineering, information technology, and inorganic/organic chemistry. I hope to further develop team science by integrating these disciplines.
Special message to the audience
I keep going to engage in research, believing that the fusion of different specialties, such as my own, with nursing science can create innovations in nursing!
